WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? As Mechanical Engineer you own the mechanical engineering function of the plant. Improvement & Capital Projects. Identify and execute modifications that raise throughput, reduce energy, cut changeover time or extend component life. Prepare technical and commercial justification for replacement and expansion capital expenditure. Specify new equipment, evaluate suppliers, and take part in inspection, acceptance testing and commissioning. Supervise erection, alignment and trial runs of new equipment and its interface with civil, piping and electrical work.
