SAP Senior Payroll Consultant

Job Title: SAP Senior Payroll Consultant Company: Medibank Job Category: SAP HCM Roles & Responsibilities: We're seeking an experienced Senior SAP Payroll (ECP) Consultant on a 12 month fixed term contract to lead the design, configuration, support, and enhancement of SAP Payroll solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor to Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders, you'll ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll outcomes while supporting both day\-to\-day operations and strategic payroll transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert production support for SAP Payroll (ECP), resolving complex payroll issues and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance. * Configure and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, finance postings, and integrations. * Lead payroll solution design, requirements gathering, and delivery for system enhancements and transformation projects. * Support payroll testing activities, including SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel payroll runs. * Manage legislative updates, including STP, Payday Super, taxation, and superannuation changes. * Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver best\-practice payroll solutions. * Extensive experience in SAP Payroll, ideally Employee Central Payroll (ECP). * Strong expertise in payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, IDOCs, G/L posting, STP, terminations, and payroll reporting. * Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements. * Proven experience in payroll production support, project delivery, and payroll integrations. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
