JOB DESCRIPTION. Senior Engineer - PPC. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Production Planning Engineer to oversee and optimize our production schedules at Nuevosol. The role involves coordinating crossfunc tionally to ensure timely delivery, efficient resource utilization, and quality output. Ideal. candidates will bring strong analytical skills, ERP proficiency, and experience in roll forming or engineering industries. Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and customer demands. Adjust plans proactively in response to unforeseen changes such as machine breakdowns or material delays. Review material availability and project-wise allocation, and coordinate with the Materials department for procurement. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure the timely receipt of materials as per specifications. Update all relevant departments regarding changes to the current production schedule, if any, so they can prioritize their activities accordingly. Inform the Quality Control (QC) department of nearing completion status to schedule the final inspection or Third-Party Inspection (TPI). Ensure that available resources are utilized to their maximum capacity through effective planning and control; highlight underutilized resources to plant management. Recommend and implement efficient production techniques and cost reduction initiatives to improve the production process, product quality, and productivity. Interact with shop floor supervisors daily to understand and resolve any issues related to manufacturing efficiency. Coordinate with packing and logistics teams for the timely dispatch of products to customers. Analyze production data and metrics (e.g., OEE, downtime, cycle times, scrap rates) to identify inefficiencies. Manage production data in ERP/MRP systems, including tracking schedules, material usage, and work orders. Generate regular reports on operational metrics, productivity, inventory status, and production deviations. Support and prepare documentation for audits and certifications (e.g., customer audits,TPI, process approvals). This is a great opportunity to build a career in the SAP PP domain.
