Payroll Executive and Accountant

Job Title: Payroll Executive and Accountant Company: Tata Motors Job Category: SAP HCM Roles & Responsibilities: We are looking for dynamic Payroll Professional to join Tata Consultancy Services (Talent Operations) in Pune and play a critical role in managing end\-to\-end Payroll Operations for a large workforce. * Validate payroll accounting entries and HR\-to\-FI integration. * Manage month\-end, quarter\-end, and year\-end payroll closing activities. * Review and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, and reclassifications. * Monitor GL balances and investigate variances. * Handle payroll accounting reconciliations and reporting. * Ensure compliance with: * Provident Fund (PF) / ESIC * Income Tax (TDS) * Labour laws and wage regulations * Support statutory audits and compliance reporting. * Verify tax, statutory and benefit deductions. * Drive payroll automation and standardization initiatives. * Participate in SAP Payroll enhancement projects. * Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. * Manage stakeholder queries and provide payroll guidance to employees. * Execute end\-to\-end monthly payroll processing in SAP Payroll. * Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement. * Process payroll corrections, arrears, and retroactive adjustments. * Perform pre\-payroll and post\-payroll validation checks. * Reconcile payroll outputs with approved inputs. * Understanding of labour legislation * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Ability to work with confidential information * Experience handling large employee populations * Process improvement and automation mindset Key Skills: SAP HCM, Payroll Salary: INR 500000 - 900000 per yearly
