Job Description
Job Title: Digital Marketing Assistant
Company: Write
Job Category: Digital Marketing
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a volunteer to build Write. It's presence on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is where our buyers are: SME directors, bid and sales leads, procurement specialists, charity leaders, authors and coaches. You will help us show up there consistently and credibly, so that the right people recognise Write. It before we ever contact them.
This is a content and brand role. It is not a cold\-outreach role.
What you will do
* Plan and draft a simple monthly LinkedIn content calendar for the company page and the founder's profile, weighted towards bids and tender evidence, with room for grants, awards and books.
* Turn our expertise into short, useful posts: e.g., tender/grant/award/book\-evidence tips, before\-and\-after writing examples, myth\-busting, plain\-English explainers on public\-sector procurement or funder legislation, and lessons from the Conscious Writing™ approach.
* Draft posts for the founder's review, in her voice, and prepare carousels, short documents and simple graphics (Canva or similar).
* Support engagement: schedule posts, monitor comments and messages on our own content, and flag warm replies to the founder or sales lead within one working day.
* Help build the company page: strong About section, services, featured content and a consistent look.
* Support relationship\-building with relevant communities: SME networks, procurement and bid\-writing groups, author and publishing communities and potential partner organisations, through genuine, non\-promotional participation.
* Keep a simple weekly tracker (posts, impressions, engagement, profile visits, inbound enquiries) and share a short monthly summary of what is working.
* Collect, with permission, anonymised wins, testimonials and case\-study material for the content calendar.
* Post about latest events (workshops, webinars) we hold.
* Accuracy: Every claim is checked and sourced. We do not claim client results, scientific proof of uplift, or contract wins that we cannot evidence.
* No reader assumptions: We do not imply a prospect is failing, in distress, or lacks a writer. We lead with something useful.
* Respect: No spammy tagging, scraped lists or automated connection requests. We follow LinkedIn's rules and UK privacy and marketing regulations.
* Confidentiality: Client names, documents and results are only used with written permission.
* Senior approval: Anything speaking on Write. It's behalf is approved before publishing until we agree otherwise.
Around 6–10 hours per week, flexible and mostly remote, for an initial three\-month period, after which we review together. There are no fixed working hours and no obligation to meet minimum hours, and you can step back at any time. A short weekly check\-in (15–20 minutes) with your manager keeps us aligned.
* A published and consistently followed content calendar.
* A refreshed, complete company page.
* Steady growth in relevant followers and engagement, with targets agreed after the first month, not imposed upfront.
* Warm inbound conversations and profile visits from our target audience, tracked and passed to the sales lead.
* A reusable library of approved post templates and proof points.
Send us your CV, along with a short note (no more than 250 words) and one LinkedIn post you have written, or would write for Write. It about a topic of your choice, to Jose Mbenga at info@writeitsolutions.co.uk. Tell us why this role interests you and roughly how many hours you can offer.
