Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Specialist Company: Zensar Technologies Job Category: Data Science Roles & Responsibilities: Zensar Technologies is looking for AI Delivery Lead in Cape Town The AI Delivery Lead owns end\-to\-end delivery of AI tools for our customer alongside their business and technology teams. Associate will be the single point of accountability for delivery: shaping use cases with business stakeholders, guiding the solution design, leading a blended onsite and offshore team, and taking solutions from proof of concept to production. Associate will also act as a trusted advisor on responsible AI, security and adoption. Key responsibilities * Azure Functions * Azure App Service * Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) * Logic Apps * API Management * Microsoft Entra ID * Key Vault * Azure Monitor * Azure Cost Management * Data Pipelines * Data Quality Management * Data Governance Frameworks Delivery \& Leadership * Agile/Scrum Methodologies * SAFe Exposure * Estimation and Planning * Commercial \& Budget Management * RAID Management * Executive Stakeholder Management Delivery leadership • Run delivery using Agile/Scrum, including sprint planning, backlog management and release planning. • Track and report status, RAID items, KPIs and value realisation to customer and internal leadership. • Manage expectations, change requests and escalations; build long\-term trust and grow the account. • Lead a blended onsite and offshore team of data scientists, AI engineers, developers and testers. • Coordinate across time zones with the offshore delivery centre. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field. * 15\+ years in IT services delivery, with 3\+ years leading AI/ML or GenAI programmes. * Proven record of taking at least 2 AI solutions from proof of concept to production, ideally on Azure. * Experience managing teams of 10\+ across locations. * Priority AI use cases delivered to production on schedule and within budget. * Agreed business KPIs met, such as time saved, accuracy or cost reduction per use case. * High customer satisfaction scores and a healthy pipeline of follow\-on AI use cases. * Zero critical security or compliance incidents; responsible AI controls in place for every solution.
