Workday Test Analyst

This Workday Test Analyst role at WPP involves executing functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities for Workday applications and integrations. You will prepare and maintain test cases, test data, execution results, and defect logs, support Workday release testing (R1/R2 cycles), and validate system changes against business requirements. Daily responsibilities include tracking and managing defects using Jira/Zephyr, working closely with functional and technical teams for resolution, supporting business users during UAT, and ensuring testing activities meet quality standards and timelines. You will participate in requirement reviews, sprint testing, and impact assessments for project and BAU changes, validate inbound/outbound integrations, coordinate with integration teams, and provide regular testing status updates and execution metrics to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate must have experience in Workday HCM and/or Workday Integrations testing with a strong understanding of Workday business processes, security, EIB, Studio, and web services. Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing methodologies is essential. Proficiency with Jira, Zephyr, or similar test management tools is required. Strong analytical, communication, defect management, and problem-solving skills are essential. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. The role also requires hands-on support for R1/R2 release cycles, validation of inbound and outbound integrations, and regular delivery of execution metrics and testing status updates to stakeholders.
