Job Description
Baker Hughes is hiring a Workday Integration Developer in Gurugram, a role centered on the full delivery lifecycle of Workday integrations rather than functional configuration alone. You will design, build, test, and deploy integration solutions, working with Workday Studio and Core Connectors as the primary development tools alongside EIBs and PECIs for simpler data transfer scenarios. Troubleshooting issues across these integrations is a regular responsibility, requiring you to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications before development begins. Conducting both unit and end-to-end testing is an explicit part of the role, ensuring integrations behave correctly both in isolation and within the broader system landscape.
Requirements
This role requires a minimum of 3 years of Workday integration development experience, with hands-on skills in Workday Studio and Core Connectors as primary build tools. Practical knowledge of EIBs and PECIs is required for simpler integration and data-loading scenarios. Strong SOAP and REST web services experience is essential, given the API-heavy nature of Workday integration work. XSLT, JSON, and xPath skills are needed for data transformation logic within integrations. JavaScript proficiency supports custom scripting requirements. Familiarity with BIRT reporting and PeopleCode is valued for extending Workday's reporting capabilities beyond native tools available.
