Warehouse Manager

Job Title: Warehouse Manager Company: Symotree Global Job Category: SAP EWM Roles & Responsibilities: About the Role: Job Title: Warehouse Manager Job Purpose: To manage the warehouse function and its team, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, accurate inventory control, cost and budget management, and full compliance with safety, legislative and company standards. Responsibilities: * Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching stock * Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control (cycle counts, stock takes, reconciliations) * Maintain proper documentation and system updates (e.g. Sage / ERP systems) * Lead warehouse supervisors and staff, including recruitment, performance management, training and discipline * Ensure compliance with health \& safety regulations and company policies * Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams * Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies * Optimise warehouse layout and processes for efficiency * Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times * Manage the warehouse budget, stock\-holding values and cost\-saving initiatives * Manage supplier and service\-provider performance in conjunction with procurement * Report on warehouse performance, stock accuracy and KPI’s to senior management * Strong leadership and team management skills * Attention to detail and high level of accuracy * Good planning and organisational skills * Problem\-solving ability * Strong communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Budget and cost management ability * Sound decision\-making and accountability Work Location: Limpopo, South Africa Availability: Full time

Minimum Requirements: * Grade 12 (Matric) * Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse Management * 5–10 years’ experience in a warehouse environment within a mining industry * At least 3 years in a managerial role * Experience in mining industry environment (preferred) * Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP systems such as Sage) * Valid driver’s licence * Medically fit to work in a mining environment * Experience in mining industry environment (preferred) Key Skills: Warehouse Management Salary: Not disclosed
