Warehouse Manager

Seeking a hands-on and strategic Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations across all facilities. The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with a continuous improvement mindset, commercial awareness, and a passion for building high-performing teams while implementing new processes and technologies. This role requires relentless focus on service, cost optimization, inventory integrity, and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** **1- Operational Leadership** * Oversee daily operations across all warehouse facilities (internal and external warehouses) * Lead, motivate and develop warehouse staff including supervisors, officers, and others while building a culture of accountability, high performance, operational discipline, and continuous improvement * Develop a cross skilled team to be utilized flexible across different warehouses / different areas of warehousing * Establish KPI-driven performance management to ensure optimal utilization of warehouse resources **2- Systems & Process Optimization** * Implement and optimize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) * Optimize storage space utilization to maximize capacity and efficiency * Benchmark warehouses performance against industry best practices and drive continuous enhancement initiatives to reduce costs, eliminate waste and improve productivity. **3- Cost & Inventory Management** * Manage the annual warehouse budget * Maintain a strong cost-conscious mindset and continuously scrutinize/reduce all warehouse operational expenses, inventory holding costs, labor productivity, and external service costs * Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for inventory control, working capital efficiency, and obsolete stock management * Ensure inventory accuracy through rigorous cycle counts **4- Cross-Functional Collaboration** * Coordinate cross-departmental logistics with Production, Sales, Logistics (Transportation), Procurement and Finance to optimize end-to-end material flows and inventory management * Support broader business transformation and operational excellence initiatives across the organization * Handle escalated customer and vendor issues effectively **5- Compliance & Safety** * Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements to achieve zero lost time * Ensure regulatory compliance (customs, fire safety, etc.) **6- Reporting & People Development** * Establish KPI-driven performance management with monthly KPI reports (OTIF, damage rates, inventory accuracy, personnel utilization, cost management, etc.) * Regularly review operational and financial performance, providing data-driven recommendations to senior management * Develop staff training programs to build team capability **Candidate Profile:** * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred * 10+ years of warehouse management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Proven expertise in WMS implementation and optimization. * Strong leadership skills with experience managing large and multicultural teams within complex operational environments * Experience in manufacturing, paper, recycling, or a related industrial sector preferred. * Demonstrated success in inventory accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement. * Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities * Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and drive sustainable organizational change * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making * Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings, productivity improvements, and operational excellence initiatives
