Job Title: Technology Manager (New Generation Warehousing) - Remote or Singapore Company: The Wine Reserve Singapore SAP Module: SAP EWM Roles & Responsibilities: Technology Project Manager – The Wine Reserve Singapore The new facility builds on our existing wine storage operation in Singapore. Provino Logistics runs on a warehouse management system (WMS) we developed in-house specifically for wine and spirits, and the same system will be the foundation for the new warehouse. THE ROLE We're looking for a hands-on Technology Manager to take ownership of our technology, both today and as we grow. You'll take control of our in-house WMS and the other systems behind our current operation. You'll also recruit and manage an offshore developer (part-time or full-time) to work on them. You'll then lead the programme that extends and scales these systems for the new facility, connected to a customer portal and to trading, finance and customs systems. You'll work closely with our leadership, our operations team and external technology partners, keeping pace with the construction programme. - Take ownership of our in-house WMS: learn its architecture, code base, data and documentation, and bring its development, support and know-how under your control - Hire an offshore developer (part-time or full-time): define the role, source and assess candidates, and set up the engagement - Manage the developer day to day: set priorities, plan and review work, uphold code quality and testing, and make sure documentation and knowledge stay with the business - Support and stabilise the systems running our current operation while planning for the future - Define and lead the roadmap to extend the WMS for a much larger, more automated facility, including scalability, mobile scanning workflows and links to environmental monitoring - Select and manage vendors and developers for the systems around the WMS: the customer portal and app, trading and order management, finance and billing, and customs documentation - Oversee integrations with finance, logistics partners, building and environmental monitoring systems, and regulatory platforms - Run testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) with the operations team, and lead training and change management - Help shape the longer-term IT operating model and vendor support arrangements - 7+ years in technology project or programme management, including at least one full-lifecycle implementation of a business-critical platform (WMS, ERP or similar) - A track record of hiring and managing developers, including remote or offshore team members, across time zones - Build your own development capability from the start Apply through LinkedIn or send a short note with your CV.
