Roles & Responsibilities:
One of our leading federal govt clients is seeking to engage
Software Engineer (SAP S/4HANA / ABAP Developer )
for
Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne
locations
Key duties and responsibilities
* Demonstrated experience in
software development, programming, coding, testing and debugging applications
.
* Ability to
design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor simple programs and scripts
, aligned with
SFIA Programming/Software Development (PROG) Level 2
.
* Experience developing
high\-quality, maintainable and optimised code
following agreed development standards and methodologies.
* Experience supporting
software design, development, prototyping, unit testing and application maintenance
.
* Ability to create software and technical designs for moderately complex development solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Experience analysing
technical and business requirements
and contributing to the development of appropriate software solutions.
* Understanding of the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
, including development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
* Ability to provide
go\-live support, defect resolution, troubleshooting and maintenance
for software applications.
* Experience identifying, analysing and escalating
technical issues, development risks and software defects
.
* Ability to apply
software development standards, security requirements, coding practices and quality assurance processes
.
* Strong
problem\-solving, analytical thinking, communication and technical documentation
skills.
