Job Title: Software Engineer (SAP Basis) Company: MULTIVAC Technology Solutions India Private Limited SAP Module: SAP BASIS Roles & Responsibilities: We are looking for Software Engineer (SAP Basis) who would ensure stable and secure SAP system operations, manage interfaces and backups, and documents operational processes. This role also involves collaborating with global teams to support infrastructure and application needs. Key Responsibilities * Ensure stable and secure operation of SAP systems * Perform system monitoring, patch management, performance analysis, and regular housekeeping * Manage and monitor system interfaces to non-SAP applications * Support backup/recovery procedures and system copies * Document and continuously improve operational processes * Collaborate with global teams to support infrastructure and application needs Employing approximately 7,400 staff in more than 80 subsidiaries worldwide, MULTIVAC ensures proximity to customers, providing support from initial project concepts through to after-sales service. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Attributes * Engineering bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 1-3 years of experience in SAP. * Proven experience in SAP Basis administration in enterprise environments * Knowledge in R/3, ECC and new dimensional projects (S4Hana, Fiori, Content Servers, etc.) * Experience with Linux-based systems, ideally on IBM Power Systems (E980) * Contribute to the architecture of cloud-based SAP systems and provide expertise in SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Identity Management. * Familiarity with IBM infrastructure and architecture is a plus * ABAP and JAVA administration knowledge is desired * Certification in SAP BASIS/HANA DB is an advantage * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Exposure to German language/culture is a plus. * Experience in working with global stakeholders and ability to work with intercultural teams. * Extensive experience collaborating in SCRUM-based Agile teams. * Flexibility to work according to German time zones. * Available for short-term international travel for meetings, training, and project activities.
