We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to manage, support, and optimize SAP system landscapes across development, testing, and production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP administration, system monitoring, installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure stable, secure, and high-performing SAP operations. This role also supports the adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities to improve operational efficiency, accelerate issue resolution, and strengthen documentation and support processes.

Key Responsibilities. Install, configure, maintain, and support SAP systems and landscapes. Perform SAP system administration activities, including client administration, transport management, and user administration. Monitor system performance, availability, and security. Execute SAP kernel upgrades, patches, and system refreshes. Support SAP HANA database administration and system migrations. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis-related issues across environments. Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Collaborate with functional and technical teams during implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support activities. Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and operational controls. Support cloud and hybrid SAP environments where applicable. Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and support records. Provide on-call or production support when required. Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency. Support the use of AI-enabled tools for log analysis, knowledge retrieval, incident triage, documentation, and operational support where appropriate. Required Qualifications. Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 4+ years of SAP Basis administration experience. Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and SAP system architecture. Experience with SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching. Hands-on experience with transport management and system monitoring tools. Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a structured support environment and manage priorities effectively. Interest in automation and AI-enabled tools to improve operational support, documentation, and troubleshooting efficiency. Preferred Qualifications. SAP Basis or SAP HANA certification preferred. Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, and SAP security concepts. Experience with automation, scripting, or workflow tools. Exposure to AI-assisted tools for system analysis, operational support, or documentation. An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.
