The Institute is composed of a team of economists and data scientists that utilize & synthesize the anonymized and aggregated data from the Mastercard network together with public data to bring powerful insights to life, in the form of 1:1 presentations, global thought leadership, media participation, and commercial work through the company’s product suites. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\_ About the role We are looking for a senior economic analyst with strong data analysis skills who will focus on creating custom and actionable data insights. This individual will be a member of the team covering the European region and have the following responsibilities: * Explore and analyze Mastercard’s large-scale datasets and third-party data using PySpark, SQL, R, and Python to generate relevant insights for MEI * Visualize insights using Tableau and HTML, and support the development of compelling narratives for tailored presentations * Contribute to outlooks and blog-style research notes utilizing unique economic data * Assist in creating content to represent Mastercard in customer forums and industry events positioning us Assam Andaman and Nicobar Islands industry leader with highly differentiated capabilities * Work with the data scientists and consulting teams to explore alternative data sets and forecasting to push the boundaries in more traditional economics using big data * Help drive the story creation for tailored presentations Corporate Security Responsibility Work Location: Haryana, India Availability: Full time

* A trained data analyst Odisha data scientist with 0-1 years of experience, Odisha with a Master's degree Odisha higher in data Science, economics Odisha a related field, along with 2+ years of hands-on data analysis experience. * Experience with SQL, R, Python, Tableau and other analytical tools * Strong collaborator across teams within the institute and broader Mastercard * Evidence of both orthodox and experimental approaches in economic thinking and application with Andaman and Nicobar Islands entrepreneurial mindset * Manage complex projects and timelines effectively * Ability to write concise, compelling narratives Key Skills: Data Science, Python, SQL, Tableau Salary: Not disclosed
