Job Title: Senior ABAP Developer Company: ERP Initiatives Group Inc SAP Module: SAP ABAP Roles & Responsibilities: Role overview Job Description: Senior SAP ABAP Developer Shift Timing: 2 PM – 11 PM IST Key Responsibilities: * S/4HANA & Modern ABAP: Design and develop high-performance solutions using advanced ABAP capabilities on SAP S/4HANA. * Database & Core Logic: Write optimized AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) , complex Custom Tables logic , and design high-performance CDS (Core Data Services) Views . * Cloud & BTP Extensions: Build, deploy, and maintain side-by-side extensions and integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . * Clean Core Strategy: Enforce and implement Clean Core architecture principles , ensuring standard SAP code remains untouched by leveraging modern extensibility frameworks. * AI Automation: SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad , or Generative AI integration work on BTP. * Performance Tuning: Code optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging complex business processes to ensure optimal system performance. * SAP S/4HANA Mastery: Extensive backend development experience specifically tailored for S/4HANA environments. * Advanced Programming: Deep expertise in AMDP, CDS Views, Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) , and SQL Scripting. * Extensibility & Integration: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Extensions (In-App, Side-by-Side, RAP/CAP models) and API-led integrations (OData V2/V4). * Database Design: Advanced knowledge of creating and managing complex Custom Tables logic while maintaining data integrity and performance. * Clean Core Expertise: Proven track record of applying Clean Core practices to minimize technical debt during upgrades.
