Contract/Temp AUD 1000 - 1200 per day Posted 6d ago Senior SAP Project Manager Initial contract until 30 April 2027 + Possible extension Hybrid and Flexible working available We're partnering with a Queensland Government department undertaking significant SAP-focused transformation initiatives that support critical business and operational functions. This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale SAP programs, working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and strategic vendors to drive successful outcomes. You'll play a key leadership role in shaping delivery direction, managing project risk and governance, and ensuring SAP investments deliver measurable business value across a large and complex environment. What you'll be doing Lead enterprise-scale SAP project delivery Drive project outcomes from initiation to closure Manage scope, budgets and delivery schedules Build executive stakeholder confidence Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams Establish effective governance frameworks Manage vendor and partner relationships Identify and mitigate project risks Ensure compliance with government standards Deliver executive reporting and briefings Drive organisational change and adoption Align technology outcomes with strategy Champion continuous improvement initiatives Resolve complex delivery challenges Promote accountability and delivery excellence What you need to bring Extensive SAP project management experience Proven delivery of large-scale programs SAP implementation or upgrade experience Strong SAP ecosystem knowledge Experience managing complex stakeholders Executive-level communication skills Strong vendor management capability Expertise in project governance Risk and issue management experience Budget and financial management skills Knowledge of Agile, PRINCE2 or PMBOK Ability to lead diverse delivery teams Experience operating in regulated environments Strong strategic planning capability Demonstrated delivery of business outcomes Bonus points for SAP S/4HANA delivery experience PMP certification PRINCE2 Practitioner certification SAP Activate certification Government or public sector experience If you're a strategic SAP Project Manager who enjoys leading complex transformation programs and influencing organisational outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
