SAP PP and QM Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities. Responsible for planning and executing SAP PP and QM implementation, configuration, development and support activities. Analyze business requirements and understand client processes related to Production Planning and Quality Management. Gather requirements from business users and provide appropriate SAP solutions. Perform SAP PP configuration including production planning processes, MRP, BOM, Work Centers, Routings and Production Orders. Perform SAP QM configuration covering quality planning, inspection processes, quality notifications and related QM processes. Configure and support integration of SAP PP/QM with other SAP modules such as MM, WM, PM and other relevant business processes. Prepare functional specifications, solution/design documents, PDD/BDD, BPPs and process documentation. Prepare process flows and business process documentation using tools such as Microsoft Visio. Conduct workshops and prepare/present Blueprint and solution design presentations to clients. Participate in unit testing, cycle testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing. Prepare test scripts and perform testing following SAP upgrades or system changes. Prepare user manuals, training materials and other project documentation. Provide SAP PP/QM production support, troubleshoot issues and deliver timely resolutions. Work closely with onsite teams, business users and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Participate in project status calls and provide regular updates on assigned activities. Follow structured SAP implementation methodologies such as ASAP and established project standards. Support integration of SAP QM with external applications where required, including laboratory/information systems such as LIMS. Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with clients and onsite/offshore teams. Required Skills. 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and SAP QM. Strong experience in SAP PP configuration and implementation/support. Strong experience in SAP QM configuration and implementation/support. Good understanding of end-to-end Production Planning and Quality Management processes. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred. Experience integrating PP/QM with MM, WM, PM and other SAP modules. Experience in testing, documentation and user support. Good analytical, communication and client-facing skills. Ability to work with onsite teams and interact directly with clients. Location.
