Job Title: SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant - AMS Company: Hiree SAP Module: SAP PM Roles & Responsibilities: Job Description: SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) – Application Maintenance Support We are seeking an SAP PM Application Maintenance Support Specialist to provide ongoing production support, incident resolution, and minor enhancements for the SAP Plant Maintenance module. This role is focused on keeping the system stable and running smoothly for end users post-implementation, rather than new-build configuration — ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous system improvement in a live production environment. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day L1/L2/L3 production support for the SAP PM module, resolving incidents within agreed SLAs Monitor, triage, and resolve tickets related to maintenance notifications, work orders, equipment master, functional locations, task lists, and maintenance plans Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes or workarounds Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance plan runs (batch jobs), background job monitoring, and troubleshooting of failed jobs Manage master data corrections and mass data changes (equipment, functional locations, BOMs, task lists) as needed Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, FI/CO, PS) to resolve integration-related issues affecting PM processes Support period-end and year-end activities related to maintenance orders and settlements Maintain support documentation: known error database (KEDB), SOPs, FAQs, and root-cause logs Participate in on-call/rotational support as required, including handling P1/P2 critical incidents Support periodic system health checks, data consistency checks, and housekeeping activities Track and report support metrics: ticket volumes, SLA adherence, aging, and recurring issue trends 3 years of experience in SAP PM support (implementation experience is a plus, but not mandatory) Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL exposure preferred) Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Asset Management environments Experience working in a managed services / AMS (Application Maintenance & Support) model Industry background in manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, or facilities management Familiarity with batch job scheduling and monitoring in SAP Understanding of transport management (moving CRs through DEV → QA → PROD) Comfortable working in rotational/on-call support models Work Location: In person Work Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Availability: Full time
