SAP FICO Consultant

We are looking for an SAP FICO Consultant with around 2 years of relevant experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). The candidate will be responsible for supporting SAP FICO business processes, configuration, issue resolution, testing, documentation, and coordination with business and technical teams.The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling, and FI integration with other SAP modules.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.Support SAP FI and CO configuration based on business requirements.Work on core Financial Accounting (FI) processes.Support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.Work on Asset Accounting (AA) and basic asset lifecycle processes.Support Bank Accounting and payment-related processes.Work on Accounts Payable invoice processing and payment processes.Support customer invoicing, incoming payments, and clearing processes.Handle vendor/customer account clearing and reconciliation.Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Work on Controlling (CO) processes including Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting.Support internal orders and cost allocation processes.Work on Automatic Payment Program (APP) and related configuration/support.Support tax configuration and withholding tax processes as applicable.Work on FI integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.Support Automatic Account Determination and integration with MM/SD.Analyze production issues and provide timely resolutions.Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for enhancements.Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.Prepare test cases, functional documentation, and user manuals.Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, ABAP developers, and other SAP teams.Provide production support and post-go-live support for SAP FICO processes.

2 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO.Strong understanding of SAP FI and CO business processes.Hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support.Good understanding of accounting and financial processes.Experience in incident/issue analysis and resolution.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical teams.Good documentation and coordination skills.SAP S/4HANA Finance experience will be an advantage.SAP FICO certification/training is an added advantage.Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.SAP FICO certification/training preferred.
