Role OverviewThe SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement Consultant (E2) is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of end‑to‑end procurement processes leveraging SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management capabilities. The role focuses on optimizing sourcing, purchasing, supplier collaboration, and procurement operations to enable efficient, compliant, and scalable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities. Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement modules, including:. Procurement (MM). Purchasing Processes. Inventory Management. Invoice Verification. Implement and support core procurement processes such as:. Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order (PR‑PO). Goods Receipt. Invoice Posting and Settlement. Enable and optimize supplier collaboration and sourcing processes. Integrate procurement processes with:. SAP Finance (FI). Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) where applicable. SAP Ariba or third‑party sourcing tools (if required). Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA functional solutions. Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), configuration rationales, and test scripts. Support data migration, master data setup, and reconciliation activities. Participate in SIT, UAT, and production deployments. Resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support stabilization activities. Collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional workstreams. Ensure solutions adhere to SAP best practices and governance standards. Required Skills & Qualifications. Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement. Strong understanding of:. Purchasing and Inventory Management. Pricing, Release Strategies, and Vendor Evaluation. Account Determination and Integration with FI. Experience in end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay (P2P) processes. Ability to work on configuration, testing, and production support activities. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills. Good communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications. Experience working on SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations. Exposure to SAP Ariba integration. Knowledge of Fiori apps related to Sourcing & Procurement. SAP S/4HANA Certification in Sourcing & Procurement (preferred, not mandatory). Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
