SAP Basis Consultant

This Senior SAP BASIS Specialist role at EY involves managing and optimizing SAP BASIS infrastructure and operations to ensure system stability, security, and high performance across complex SAP landscapes. You will work closely with IT teams, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to implement best practices, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and support system upgrades, patches, and migrations. Daily responsibilities include performance monitoring and tuning, system administration on UNIX & Windows, system copies, kernel upgrades, client copies, TMS administration, SAP system monitoring, role-based authorization, spool administration, and OSS Note application. Experience in Single Sign-On, Web Dispatcher, and SAP on public and private cloud is essential.

The ideal candidate must have 3-6 years of experience in SAP Basis domain with solid hands-on experience in SAP system administration. Proficient in administering SAP HANA (monitoring, tuning, backup/recoveries). Experience supporting landscapes like S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, PO/PI, Fiori, Solution Manager is required. Strong SAP BTP knowledge and RISE with SAP experience is essential. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. Familiarity with change management practices and a track record of successful stakeholder engagement across diverse business units is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably.
