Job Title: SAP ABAP Technical Consultant Company: archian ai Job Category: SAP ABAP Roles & Responsibilities: Role Summary Roles and Responsibilities: Lead end\-to\-end SAP ABAP development and delivery activities, ensuring project milestones are achieved in alignment with business priorities, timelines, and quality standards. Plan, estimate, and manage technical development activities, conduct periodic progress reviews, proactively identify risks, and escalate dependencies or delays while optimizing resources and delivery costs. Drive technical design and implementation of complex SAP solutions using ABAP, Object\-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, interfaces, and other relevant SAP technologies. Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and innovation opportunities to design and implement forward\-looking digital solutions that improve business processes, operational efficiency, and overall business value. Drive technical excellence through solution reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, reusable component development, and adherence to SAP development best practices. Oversee the design, development, testing, and maintenance of SAP interfaces and integrations, ensuring reliability, availability, data consistency, and seamless connectivity with internal and external systems. Proactively monitor SAP application health, troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize production incidents and service disruptions. Lead technical impact assessments, effort estimations, defect resolution, and deployment planning across development, quality assurance, and production environments. Coordinate with functional and technical teams during integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, go\-live, and post\-implementation support to ensure smooth delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance, system stability, development productivity, and overall solution quality. Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, interface documentation, and knowledge\-transfer materials in accordance with project standards.
