SAP ABAP PLM Consultant

SAP ABAP + PLM Consultant. Experience: 7–15 years overall, with a minimum of 6 years in SAP ABAP. Job Summary. We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP + PLM Consultant with 7–15 years of overall experience and a minimum of 6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, OData Services, APIs, Data Services, and SAP PLM technical development.

Key Responsibilities. Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP applications and technical solutions. Develop and enhance SAP PLM solutions and integrations across SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Analyze functional specifications and prepare technical specifications for ABAP and PLM developments. Develop and optimize Core ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements. Implement Object-Oriented ABAP principles to develop scalable and reusable SAP applications. Design and develop CDS Views and CDS View Entities for S/4HANA applications and reporting. Develop and enhance OData services to support SAP Fiori applications and external integrations. Develop and consume REST APIs and other integration services for SAP and third-party systems. Work on SAP Data Services for data extraction, transformation, loading, and integration requirements. Develop and maintain SAP PLM technical objects, integrations, and custom enhancements. Perform debugging, performance tuning, unit testing, defect resolution, and production support. Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver quality SAP solutions. Mandatory Technical Skills. Overall experience of 7–15 years, with minimum 6 years in SAP ABAP. Strong hands-on experience in Core ABAP. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS). Experience in SAP PLM technical development and integration. Strong experience in CDS Views and CDS View Entities. Strong experience in OData Services development and enhancement. Experience in REST APIs and SAP integration technologies. Experience in SAP Data Services. Good understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA development concepts. Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 integration. Experience in ABAP enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits, and BAPIs. Experience in SAP PLM modules such as Document Management, Product Structure, and Engineering Change Management. Knowledge of SAP RAP and modern ABAP development. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
