SAP ABAP Contractor

This SAP ABAP Contractor role at Birlasoft involves designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP programs and solutions for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, developing and maintaining technical documentation for all SAP ABAP projects. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to SAP ABAP applications to ensure smooth system operations. You will participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and systems. The role requires strong hands‑on ABAP development skills including work on BDC, module pool programming, ALV reports, SmartForms, and BAPIs. You will also work with OData services and ABAP Objects.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in SAP ABAP development with expertise in BDC, SAP Data Dictionary, module pool programming, ALV reports, SmartForms, SAPScripts, OO ABAP, BAPIs, and OData. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Experience in SAP implementation and support projects is preferred. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A collaborative mindset, willingness to mentor junior team members, and adaptability to changing business needs are highly valued for this role.
