Job Title: SAP ABAP / OData consultant (SADL, BOPF, OData V2/V4). Work Timings: 3PM to 12 AM. Experience: 5+ Years. Location: Chennai / Hybrid. Job Summary:. We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with strong experience in SAP Gateway, OData V2/V4, CDS Views, SADL, BOPF, and RAP frameworks. The role focuses on custom development, API enablement, SAP Fiori backend services, and S/4HANA application development using modern programming models. Key Responsibilities:. Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP applications in ECC and S/4HANA. Develop and support OData V2 and OData V4 services using SAP Gateway. Build CDS Views, CDS Exposure Services, and SADL-based OData services. Develop RAP applications using Managed and Unmanaged scenarios. Design and implement BOPF Business Objects, Actions, Determinations, and Validations. Support SAP Fiori/UI5 backend integration and API enablement. Handle integrations using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, Web Services, and OData APIs. Develop Service Definitions and Service Bindings in RAP. Resolve production issues and perform performance tuning on HANA. Participate in S/4HANA transformation and modernization initiatives. Required Skills:. 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP. Strong experience with SAP Gateway and OData V2/V4 development. Expertise in CDS Views, CDS Associations, and CDS Annotations. Experience with SADL Framework and CDS-based OData Services. Strong knowledge of RAP Architecture, Behavior Definitions, and Service Bindings. Experience with BOPF Framework (Actions, Determinations, Validations). Strong experience in ABAP OO and ABAP on HANA. Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good to Have:. Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 backend enablement. Knowledge of AMDP, SQL Script, and HANA Optimized Development. Experience in RAP Managed and Unmanaged Implementations. Knowledge of Draft Handling, Custom Actions, and EML in RAP. Experience with S/4HANA Conversion or Migration Projects. Experience in custom app for ECC and S4 Hana.
