SAP ABAP Consultant

This SAP ABAP Consultant role at Tata Consultancy Services involves developing and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will work with Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, and ABAP on HANA concepts with hands-on knowledge of CDS Views and AMDP. Daily responsibilities include performing debugging and performance tuning, working with SAP workflows and background jobs, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role requires 4+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with strong expertise in modern ABAP technologies. This position also involves supporting knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing to internal best-practice documentation, and helping to build a culture of continuous learning within the SAP development team.

The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with strong experience in Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP on HANA concepts, and hands-on knowledge of CDS Views & AMDP. Experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments is required. Strong debugging and performance tuning skills are essential. Exposure to SAP workflows and background jobs is preferred. Any graduate degree is acceptable. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role.
