Sap Abap Developer

Incture is hiring a SAP ABAP Developer in Bhubaneswar, a role built around modern S/4HANA development patterns rather than traditional ECC-era ABAP programming. You will design, develop, and test custom programs spanning the standard RICEF categories, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements, while also building workflows to automate business processes within SAP. A significant part of the role involves working with CDS Views and OData services, the modern data-access layer that underlies most current SAP Fiori applications, alongside direct Fiori and UI5 development for front-end delivery. Collaborating closely with functional consultants ensures the technical solutions you build actually address real business requirements rather than working from specifications in isolation.

Candidates need at least 3 years of ABAP development experience with specific expertise in RICEF objects and S/4HANA ABAP development on the HANA database. Strong CDS Views and OData services skills are essential, given the modern data-access patterns this role centers on. Practical Fiori and UI5 development experience is required for building front-end interfaces on top of these data services. Experience building custom workflows is needed for automating business processes within SAP. Strong collaboration skills are required to work effectively with functional consultants gathering and translating requirements.
