SAP ABAP Consultant

This SAP ABAP Consultant role at Shell Infotech involves developing ALV reports, forms, interfaces, and enhancements. You will design, code, test, debug, and implement SAP modules using ABAP. Your responsibilities include integrating SAP applications with other systems using BAPI and RFC technologies, and working with Workflow, API, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms. Strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL is required. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions and ensure system performance and reliability. The role also involves close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. The developer will participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality, maintainable ABAP code.

The ideal candidate must have 5‑7 years of experience in developing ALV reports, forms, interfaces, enhancements, Workflow, API, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and BAPI/RFC. Knowledge of database concepts and SQL is required. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams are expected. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant SAP certifications.
