Production Planner

Production Planner x 10. On-site attendance at Aldermaston and Burghfield; 5 day week. Duration – 18 Months. Please advise rate sought - The position is Inside IR35 (PAYE or Umbrella). Systems – Experience with SAP and an understanding of ERP / MRP2 systems. Vetting – DV Clearance. Main responsibilities would be:The creation and maintenance of Rough Cut Capacity Planning models. To detail plan methods of manufacture in response to tasking requirements with full regard to time, cost and quality. Ensuring the local MRP system is updated and accurate. Ensuring that customer requirements are planned and released to Manufacturing and Operational activities within the timescales required. To provide manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operation times. Compliance with Inventory control processes. To demonstrate and use ‘Lean Planning’ techniques and ‘Production Control’ processes such as visual management, Kanban and Push/Pull in the operational/ manufacturing areas. Experience of working in operational environment, production, and/or supply chain functions. This is a great opportunity to build a career in the SAP PP domain.
