Minimize over dues and maintain inventory at an optimum level. Roles and Responsibilities * Analyze material flow and utilize production scheduling techniques to manage cell planning and production schedules to support on-time delivery to customers. * Review daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance results to identify trends and opportunities to take corrective and continuous improvement actions. * Monitor and manage input/output and WIP based on demand to achieve optimum inventory levels with maximum performance and minimum delay. * Support material planning group to meet delivery and inventory turn performance goals. * Provide support in material issues related to engineering changes and new product start up. * Analyze demand fluctuations, load changes, capacity requirements etc. * Close coordination with inter-departments to resolve planning/scheduling/shipment related issues. * Comply with standard operational practices, methods, procedures and SAP system updates. * Depth of experiences/ knowledge to provide coaching and guidance to coworker. * Participate and initiate continuous improvement activities. * Liaise with internal/external customers when required. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role. Qualification and Education Requirements * Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
