Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring adherence to quality standards and procurement policies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and execute procurement activities, including supplier selection and negotiating best prices and purchase order issuance, to support efficient operations across multiple departments. Responsibilities and authorities:. Direct Customer and Supplier Interaction: Regularly engage with customers and suppliers to understand their needs, ensuring a smooth logistics process and maintaining solid relationships. Conduct procurement activities, including sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers, to ensure timely and best-price acquisition of goods and services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and understand purchasing needs, specifications, and requirements for various departments. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing, minimize costs, and maintain supplier relationships. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring the accuracy of product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines. Coordinate with suppliers to track order status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery of goods. Maintain procurement records, such as contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless procurement and supply chain processes. Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to purchasing activities.
