Manager - PPC (Processing)

Production Scheduling & Capacity Planning. Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and processing capacity. Adjust workflows dynamically to accommodate shifts in customer orders, resource availability, or disruptions. Inventory & Materials Coordination. Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure raw material availability and control work-in-progress (WIP) inventories. Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages. Process Optimization & Bottleneck Resolution. Analyze production data and identify bottlenecks in processing. Implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Kaizen) to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and lower costs. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Liaise closely with procurement, processing operations, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline end-to-end workflows, ensure compliance with safety/regulatory standards, and meet production targets. Technology & Systems Management. Manage ERP/MRP systems and production planning software. Ensure data accuracy and system-driven control over schedules, materials, and reporting activities. Reporting & Performance Tracking. Track KPIs such as throughput, inventory turnover, schedule adherence, and production costs. Prepare and present performance reports and recommendations to senior management. Team Leadership & Training. Lead and develop a team of planners or schedulers. Mentor staff on best practices, tools, and continuous improvement methodologies. Regulatory Compliance & Safety.
