Role Description This is a full\-time, on\-site Machine Learning Engineer role based in Chennai. The Machine Learning Engineer will design, implement, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business and product challenges. Day\-to\-day work includes exploring and preprocessing data, selecting appropriate modeling techniques, training and evaluating models, and optimizing performance for production use. The role involves close collaboration with software engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders to integrate models into applications, monitor their behavior, and iterate based on results. The engineer is also expected to document workflows, maintain reproducible pipelines, and stay current with emerging methods and tools in machine learning. Qualifications * Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with the ability to design efficient, scalable solutions. * Applied knowledge of Statistics and Pattern Recognition for data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation. * Hands\-on experience with Neural Networks and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit\-learn). * Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML (such as Python), and familiarity with software engineering best practices. * Experience building end\-to\-end ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. * Ability to work collaboratively in cross\-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document work thoroughly. * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. * Experience with cloud platforms, version control, and containerization (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, Git, Docker) is beneficial.
