HVAC Technician

Job Title: HVAC Technician Company: ASMACS RECRUITMENT SERVICE WLL-QATAR SAP Module: SPP EWM Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities * Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. * Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system faults and equipment failures. * Inspect, clean, maintain, and replace filters, belts, bearings, dampers, cooling coils, and other components. * Diagnose faults in compressors, condensers, evaporators, control valves, thermostats, sensors, and electrical components. * Maintain and service chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package AC units, split ACs, FAHUs, precision AC units, cooling towers, ventilation and exhaust systems. * Perform functional testing and monitor HVAC equipment performance. * Check HVAC control panels, thermostats, pressure switches, sensors, and other control devices. * Monitor and troubleshoot BMS and HVAC control systems. * Carry out basic electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting related to HVAC equipment. * Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently. * Record maintenance activities in SAP/CMMS and prepare maintenance reports. * Maintain records of spare parts and report equipment defects and required corrective actions. * Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, and other maintenance teams when required. * Follow all company HSE procedures, Permit to Work (PTW), and LOTO requirements. * Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, shutdowns, and turnaround activities. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems in industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery, or other process industries. Required Qualifications * Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * HVAC/Refrigeration trade certification is preferred. * Valid safety certifications as required by the project/site. Required Experience * Minimum 6 years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience. * Industrial experience in one or more of the following is required: * Oil & Gas * LNG * Petrochemical * Fertilizer * Refinery * Industrial Process Facilities Technical Skills * Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems. * Hands-on experience with chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, and ventilation systems. * Knowledge of HVAC controls, BMS, and control panels. * Ability to read HVAC drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals. * Basic electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting skills. * Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. * Experience with SAP/CMMS is an advantage.
