Job Description
The Role. The incumbent will provide leadership for Engineering, Maintenance, Asset Reliability, Utilities, Plant Infrastructure and Capital Projects, with responsibility for building a highly reliable, technology-driven and cost-efficient engineering organisation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities. Lead end-to-end Capital Projects feasibility, engineering, budgeting, vendor selection, installation, commissioning and stabilisation. Drive brownfield expansions, capacity enhancement, debottlenecking and technology-modernisation projects. Maximise plant availability and improve OEE, MTBF and MTTR through world-class asset-reliability practices. Institutionalise TPM, Preventive, Predictive and Condition-Based Maintenance. Drive Industry 4.0/5.0, automation, robotics, IoT, advanced analytics and predictive maintenance initiatives. Ensure reliable and cost-effective management of critical utilities and plant infrastructure. Drive energy efficiency and reduction in specific energy consumption. Manage global OEMs, technology providers, engineering consultants and project contractors. Optimise maintenance OPEX, CapEx, critical spares and lifecycle cost of assets. Ensure stringent EHS, engineering standards and statutory compliance. Build and develop high-performing Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Utilities and Project Engineering teams. Candidate Profile. We are looking for a Graduate Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering with:. 18–25 years of experience in Engineering, Maintenance and Capital Projects in large-scale manufacturing. At least 5 years in a leadership role heading Engineering / Maintenance / Projects. Strong preference for experience in Engineering Plastics, Polymers, Plastic Films or other continuous-process manufacturing industries. Proven experience in executing large CapEx, brownfield and capacity-expansion projects from concept to commissioning. Strong expertise in TPM, Predictive Maintenance, Asset Reliability and Operational Excellence. Hands-on exposure to automation, robotics, Industry 4.0/5.0 and digital engineering. Experience working with global OEMs and sophisticated imported manufacturing equipment. Strong commercial orientation covering project economics, budgeting, vendor negotiations, OPEX/CapEx optimisation and ROI. Demonstrated ability to build and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.
