Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager Company: PetroWhite Alpha SAP Module: SAP HCM Roles & Responsibilities: Job Opportunity: Finance Manager We are seeking for highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee and lead the financial operations of its group companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, effective cash flow management, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Management and Reporting \* Review and maintain accurate financial records covering sales, purchases, payroll, expenses, and other transactions. \* Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. \* Analyze financial performance, profitability, budgets, and variances to support management decisions. \* Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable local regulations, IFRS, and company policies. \* Establish and monitor internal controls over company assets, expenses, payments, and financial transactions. \* Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. 3. Banking and Cash Flow Management \* Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. \* Monitor employee salary records and coordinate payroll-related financial activities. 4. Inventory and Fixed Asset Management \* Implement effective inventory tracking and reconciliation procedures. \* Coordinate periodic physical stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies. \* Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. \* Coordinate with procurement, sales, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial and operational records. \* Monitor material movements, inventory levels, warehouse utilization, and operational costs. \* Support product costing, budget monitoring, and profitability analysis. \* Strengthen coordination between finance and other departments to improve operational efficiency. 6. Strategic and Management Support \* Support the CEO/CFO in financial planning, cash management, investment analysis, and business strategy. \* Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review. \* Supervise, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members. \* Strong knowledge of corporate accounting structures and the ability to manage the accounts of multiple companies. \* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to supervise a finance team. Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered: \* Proven experience working in private-sector companies. \* Experience in manufacturing, industrial, petrochemical, or related facilities. \* 2 years of experience in the GCC. \* International or multi-jurisdictional finance experience is an advantage. \* Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational requirements. Qualifications and Requirements \* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university. \* Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is highly preferred. \* Relevant hands-on experience in petrochemicals, oil and gas, industrial manufacturing, or related sectors.
