Expert Data Science PCS

The Data Scientist will apply standard data science, statistical, and machine learning methods to support research and operational questions. Responsibilities include performing data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and quality checks, conducting text data mining as a core responsibility, supporting NLP activities, building and validating predictive models, contributing to reproducible analytical pipelines, presenting findings to project teams and stakeholders, and maintaining awareness of current developments in data science. The professional will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making efforts, ensuring models and pipelines remain scalable, well-documented, and aligned with evolving business priorities. Strong emphasis is placed on model validation, thorough testing, and proactive issue resolution to ensure reliable, high-quality outputs across the organization.

Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline with 2-4 years of relevant professional experience. Must have practical experience with text data mining and NLP. Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries. Any Graduate or Any Postgraduate. Familiarity with change management practices and a track record of successful stakeholder engagement across diverse business units is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably.
