Job Title: Data Science Analyst (Data Integration) Company: University Health Network Job Category: Data Science Roles & Responsibilities: Job Description ------------------- Department: UHN Research Shifts: Monday\-Friday The pipeline is tracked end to end by an in\-house Laboratory Information Management System (PHP, Python, PostgreSQL), developed and maintained by our senior database developer. As additional partner sites join the consortium, the work of integrating each site \- mapping its records to the LIMS schema, migrating its legacy data and supporting its users \- has grown beyond the capacity of a single position. The Data Science Analyst (Data Integration) will support the senior database developer, with primary responsibility for site onboarding and cross\-site data integration. This is a full\-time, one\-year contract position reporting to the Principal Investigator. Salary Range: $36\.14 \- $54\.22 per hour * At minimum, Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, required * At least one (1\) year of practical and related experience, required * Working proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred), Python and PHP for data transformation * Familiarity with CSV/Excel, JSON, REST APIs and scheduled file transfer, required * Demonstrated attention to data integrity, including systematic verification of completed data transfers * Ability to communicate effectively with non\-technical users across multiple time zones * Availability for approximately three to five international trips over the contract term, of three to five days each, to partner sites in Germany, Brazil, the United Kingdom, India and Australia; a valid passport and eligibility to obtain the applicable entry authorizations are required * Experience with scientific or laboratory data systems (LIMS, ELN, instrument software, research databases) * Familiarity with early\-stage drug discovery data, including compounds, assays and structures * The position is well suited to a candidate in the early stages of their career.
