In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The role includes fostering collaboration among team members, aligning technical solutions with organizational goals, and continuously monitoring the scalability and efficiency of the software being developed. The lead actively participates in strategic planning and problem-solving to drive successful project outcomes while maintaining a focus on quality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: * Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. * Responsible for team decisions. * Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. * Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. * Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects. * Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth. * Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project objectives and resolve technical challenges. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize software development processes and delivery timelines. * Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll. * Strong knowledge of payroll processing and compliance within SAP HCM environments. * Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures. * Ability to lead technical discussions and provide clear guidance to development teams. * Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for enterprise applications. * Competence in troubleshooting complex software issues and implementing effective solutions.
