Job Description * The SAP Technical Product Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership across the global Make application portfolio, supporting Inbound Logistics, Quality Management, Manufacturing and Plant Maintenance business processes * This role owns the technical governance, standards, lifecycle management, knowledge management, and long-term evolution of the Make Applications landscape (such as MES, Scrap and Rework, ESG, and Shop Floor collaboration Systems) ensuring applications remain secure, supportable, standardized, and aligned with business strategy and enterprise architecture. This person will collaborate closely with the SAP Make and Digital Factory Product Lead to align on priorities and governance aiming for consistent and reliable operations of the Make and Digital Factories area. * Working closely with Product Managers, Senior Solution Architects, Enterprise Architecture, Application Delivery teams, Platform Engineering, and Business stakeholders, the Make and Digital Factory Technical Product Lead provides technical direction, assesses new business demand, establishes technical standards, and drives continuous improvement across the application portfolio. The role acts as the technical authority for the application landscape, balancing innovation with operational stability while enabling the organization’s long-term digital transformation and best use of the existing portfolio. Key Responsibilities Main accountabilities and Key activities * Play Design Authority role for the Make and Digital Factory in the Product team level, assessing impacts, proposing adjustments and approving all the initiatives that are going to be related to products and services on this product team; * Manage the demand with the business (CIPs, projects, major incidents, special requests), including address Escalation of incidents/requests/problems/demands from business; * Involvement on transformational programs/projects to provide functional and technical expertise, collaborating with since the design until go live of products, including Service Introduction role when needed; * Seek highly automated solutions and new approaches to work for Make and Digital Factory; * Partnership with Product Owner and/or Functional Experts on continuous improvement, evolution of the product and Lifecycle management; * Service management with 3rd Party vendors based on role model operational excellence, with overall accountability on the metrics for service (SLAs. Availability, performance, etc); * Development management with 3Rd Party vendors based on role model development excellence, with overall accountability on metrics for development; * Strong collaboration with business to translate business functional requirements into actual practical and working IT solution specifications and assuring high level of satisfaction from the customers; * Participate on new design for solutions, services and products together with Business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, Transformational programs, Strategic Functional Capabilities, Business Partnership, etc; * Liaise with the other BCF areas to ensure consistent cross-functional business process design; * Providing supervision and guidance to development teams around the current product and services design, assuring the design is protected and the global/mandate processes are secured; * Support Operations in complex and high impact issues and problems as they arise; * Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed; * Continuously assess the current portfolio and applications lifecycle, assuring the systems have vendor-supported versions and patching, suggesting applications retirement, upgrades or new solutions when necessary; * Assessing the systems architecture currently in place (including satellite systems) and working with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure to recommend solutions to improve it * Building and integrating other products and services to meet the company’s needs; * Accountable for process and technical knowledge gathering, update and validation of products and services under Make and Digital Factories including documentation/knowledge from external teams that will touch those services and products; * Support product manager on lifecycle management for products and services across the markets and locations, considering business priorities, budget, current versions and risk; * Assist with change management activities, including releases and production slots; * Hands on, “can do” and “accountability” attitude; * Work as part of a high-performance team to delivery end to end all demands from the customers and business; * Identify opportunities to leverage external best practices and trends to improve processes in line with strategic business needs; * Maintain up to date Make & Digital Factory related Process, Technical and Functional Documentation; * Agile and DevOps mindset; * Great teamwork. * IT Background; * Experience in SAP Application Delivery Services, Solution Architecture, technical leadership or Product Application Management; * Extensive experience supporting and evolving complex SAP application Portfolios within global organization; * Strong understanding of OTC/PL/WMS – Supply chain Business processes; * Experience in establishing technical governance, standards, and application life Cycle management practices; * Poven experience in leading technical assessment and technology decision making across multiple portfolio and regions; * Strong knowledge on application support, service management and operational excellence within large enterprise environments; * ITIL, PMI, Agile, DevOps, Scrum, Lean IT certifications will be a plus; * Proven leadership and influencing experience with key stakeholders; * Role model agile behaviours & methods with customers and peers; * Continuously learning and building skills independently and with external Networks; * Language: Fluent in English. * Stakeholder Relationship Management * Change Agile * Supplier Relationship Management * Role model agile behaviours & methods with customers and peers Agile Methodology, Applications Support, Client Relations, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), People Leadership, Personal Effectiveness, Project Systems, Risk Management, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Commercial Project Management, SAP Controlling (CO), SAP FICA, SAP Fiori, SAP Global Trade Services, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME), SAP Master Data Governance, SAP Materials Management (MM), SAP Overview, SAP Planning, SAP Product Lifecycle Management, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Solution Composer Work Shift - Work Location: TS, India Availability: Full time
