Accounts Receivable Officer

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract and play a vital role in ensuring cash flows efficiently through the business, customer relationships remain strong and our financial operations run with accuracy and confidence. Working across Zespri's global network, This role will be the trusted link between customers, internal stakeholders & our Finance team. From resolving queries and managing customer accounts to supporting credit management and process improvements, you'll help create a seamless experience while contributing to the financial health of one of New Zealand's most iconic international brands. * Processing incoming payments and allocating receipts accurately * Managing customer accounts rebates and credit notes * Supporting collections activities and credit exposure * Preparing reconciliations, reports and journal entries * Reviewing customer master data and accounts receivable records * Supporting month-end activities and continuous process improvement initiatives * Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries effectively * Experience in an Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or Accounting role * Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes * Strong reconciliation, reporting and problem-solving skills * Experience using ERP systems such as SAP * Intermediate to advanced Excel skills * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement focus Where Zespri requires the support of an agency to fulfil a vacancy, we will proactively seek this support from our network of Agencies.
