This role contributes to expanding Ciena’s business within the service providers and other customers by driving direct/ indirect growth, supporting strategic customer engagements, and identifying new business opportunities across targeted accounts. In Saudi Arabia, the role supports a rapidly evolving digital infrastructure market, helping customers and partners deliver the high-capacity, reliable connectivity needed to enable cloud, data center, enterprise, and next-generation networking growth. The position combines account development, customer relationship management, and technical sales collaboration to deliver revenue growth, customer value, and long-term business success. * Build and execute strategic account plans that expand Ciena’s presence with targeted customers and partners across the Saudi market. * Identify and advance new opportunities across service provider, cloud, data center, and enterprise segments. * Deliver revenue, bookings, and margin growth by managing a healthy pipeline, prioritizing high-value opportunities, and maintaining accurate forecasts. * Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and local partners, positioning Ciena as a strategic advisor in support of their digital infrastructure goals. * Shape and execute customer engagement and sales strategies by applying your understanding of local market dynamics, procurement processes, and business priorities. * Partner closely with sales engineering, product, delivery, and commercial teams to align Ciena solutions with customer requirements, timelines, and pricing expectations. * Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for the capabilities, support, and solution outcomes needed to drive long-term success. * Lead compelling customer presentations and business discussions that clearly connect Ciena’s portfolio to customer needs and growth opportunities. * Act as a trusted business partner, demonstrate a self-starter and highly motivated approach to solve account challenges. The must haves: * Education: 4-year Technical or Business Degree preferred or relevant equivalent work experience. • Experience: 1 year customer-facing system sales, system engineering, network engineering, or a combination of these disciplines. • Application of large-account sales strategies and evaluation of new business opportunities.
