Job Title: Z2_SAP BW4HANA + ABAP Company: NTT DATA Job Category: SAP ABAP Roles & Responsibilities: Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP BW/4HANA and Native HANA Developer with 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data modeling in both BW/4HANA and Native HANA environments, coupled with proficient ABAP and AMDP development skills. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and supporting advanced analytical solutions to meet complex business requirements. Experience with Power BI will be considered a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data warehousing solutions using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Native HANA. * Create and optimize BW/4HANA objects, including Advanced DataStore Objects (aDSOs), CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, and BEx Queries. * Develop complex data models in SAP Native HANA, including Calculation Views (Graphical and SQL Script-based), Table Functions, and Stored Procedures. * Write and debug ABAP routines and AMDP scripts for transformations, data extraction, and custom logic within BW/4HANA and S/4HANA embedded analytics contexts. * Work extensively with ODP/ODQ framework for data extraction from SAP and non-SAP source systems. * Develop and enhance data extractors (standard and custom) using ABAP. * Performance tuning and optimization of BW/4HANA and Native HANA models and queries. * Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical specifications. * Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data loads, data modeling, and reporting. * Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and data governance policies. * Stay updated with the latest SAP BW/4HANA, Native HANA, and ABAP/AMDP advancements. * (Good to have) Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, connecting to SAP HANA and BW/4HANA data sources. Required Skills and Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * 1 year of experience in SAP BW/4HANA implementation and support. * Mandatory: Proven experience in Native HANA modeling, including the development of Calculation Views (Graphical and SQL Script), Table Functions, and Procedures. * Mandatory: Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including experience with ABAP on HANA (AMDP, CDS Views). * Mandatory: Solid experience in creating and managing AMDP scripts for complex transformations in BW/4HANA. * In-depth understanding of LSA++ architecture and its implementation in BW/4HANA. * Experience with data provisioning techniques in HANA (e.g., SLT, SDI, SDA). * Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics and CDS views. * Strong SQL scripting skills. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience with Power BI development, including connecting to SAP HANA and BW/4HANA. * Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). * Experience with other ETL tools. * Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Certified Development Specialist - HANA). * Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
