Workday Extend Analyst

This Workday Extend Analyst role at Castrol involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom applications within the Workday platform. You will build secure, scalable, and user-friendly Workday Extend solutions that improve employee experience and automate business processes. Daily responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday Extend applications aligned with Workday best practices, building custom applications using Workday Extend tools, APIs, integrations, data models, and security settings. You will translate business requirements and functional designs into technical specifications and working solutions, partner with Product Owners and functional consultants, perform unit testing and system testing support, troubleshoot application issues, and maintain technical documentation. The role requires working in Agile delivery teams.

The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in Workday Extend development, Workday technical configuration, application development, or enterprise SaaS development. Hands-on experience in Workday Extend application development, configuration, testing, and deployment is required. Strong understanding of Workday HCM, business processes, data models, security, APIs, and integration concepts is essential. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
