Job Title: Warehouse Manager - New Plymouth Company: Northpower SAP Module: SAP EWM Roles & Responsibilities: About The Role: This is a hands-on role where your organisation, problem-solving skills and attention to detail will make a real difference. You’ll work closely with our Operations teams to make sure the right materials are available, stock is accurate, and our warehouse operates safely and efficiently. Role Responsibilities: In this role, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation, including receiving, storing and issuing goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock is available when it’s needed. You’ll be responsible for picking and preparing orders accurately and on time for our Operations teams, monitoring stock accuracy, obsolete and slow-moving inventory, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency. You’ll coordinate annual stocktakes and monthly cycle counts, plan and manage warehouse logistics, deliveries and order fulfilment, and proactively manage inventory levels to minimise the risk of stockouts. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment, while overseeing depot requirements such as waste management, recycling and security. Building strong relationships with Operations, suppliers and other key stakeholders will be an important part of the role, along with providing proactive communication and responsive customer service to our internal teams. We’ll also look to you to identify and contribute to improvements in processes, safety, efficiency and ways of working.
