Valve Technician II

Job Title: Valve Technician II Company: KBR SAP Module: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: KBR is looking for VALVE TECHNICIAN II who Maintains Rotating equipment’s in good condition. Carryout installation, Maintenance and Repair of Rotating equipment’s and Mechanical systems to required standards. Responsibilities: * Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team. * Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman. * Organize manpower resources, equipment’s and materials availability. * Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work. * Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment’s. * Co-ordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job. * Ensure that SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained. * Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings. * Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines. * Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards. * Encourage reporting of Near miss, unsafe conditions and acts. * Participates in Safety audits. * Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled. Qualifications: * Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma/Bachelors. * Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities * Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills * Proven leadership skills with large organizations * Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems * Strategic management skills * An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment Key Skills: SAP MM Salary: Not disclosed
