Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the incumbent will be based at Shared Services Centre, Weltevredenpark. The successful candidate will be responsible for:. Completing purchase requisition and negotiate intend to purchase. Controlling, tracking and managing release strategies for requisitions for goods and services. Order generation and expediting of orders. Evaluating vendor performance. SAP Housekeeping. Conflict and relationship management by acting as agent between supplier and end user. Supplier analysis and commodity execution process administration. Identifying potential Suppliers and verifying qualifications for take on as vendors. Qualifications, competencies, knowledge and experience required:. CIPS (basic) or equivalent Procurement / Business / Supply Chain or Commercial diploma. At least 3 - 5 years working experience in procuring for the mining or manufacturing environment. Exposure in a cement or construction material environment will be an advantage. Knowledge of SAP (MM). Knowledge of inventory management. Knowledge of procurement processes and Supply Chain. Analytical skills and negotiation skills. Ability to develop solid sourcing skills. Team player.
