TEST LEAD

Job Title: TEST LEAD Company: Coforge Job Category: Salesforce Roles & Responsibilities: We are seeking a hands\-on Quality Engineer with Salesforce testing experience to join a Major Customer Care platform transformation program. The role will focus on testing Salesforce\-based capabilities, integrations, and end\-to\-end business processes across customer management, order management, returns, refunds, and customer service operations. Working closely with developers, business analysts, integration teams, and business stakeholders, you will help ensure the delivery of a high\-quality solution across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms. Reports to: Quality Manager/Program Manager Key Responsibilities * Design, execute, and maintain test cases for Salesforce functionality, integrations, and end\-to\-end business processes. * Validate Salesforce configurations including Lightning Experience, Flows, validation rules, permissions, and role\-based access controls. * Test APIs and integrations between Salesforce and external systems, validating business outcomes, data accuracy, and error handling. * Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across customer management, order management, returns, refunds, and related customer service processes. * Validate data synchronisation and real\-time data flows between Salesforce and connected systems. * Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test data preparation, defect management, and stakeholder support. * Log, track, and retest defects, working closely with delivery teams to ensure timely resolution. * Leverage AI\-assisted testing tools and techniques to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect analysis. * Proactively identify quality risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities. * 7\+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or quality engineering roles. * Minimum 2 years of hands\-on Salesforce testing experience. * Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Lightning Experience, Flows, validation rules, security controls, and permissions. * Experience testing REST APIs and system integrations using tools such as Postman. * Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Xray, or similar test management and defect tracking tools. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Required Experience \& Skills * Salesforce certification (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or similar). * Experience in Retail, FMCG, eCommerce, CRM, or Customer Care environments. * Familiarity with SOQL, event\-driven architectures, and data synchronisation patterns. * Experience testing bulk operations, file\-based processing, or RPA\-enabled workflows. * Awareness of modern AI\-assisted testing approaches.
