Job Title: Technology Consultant - Salesforce Developer Company: NTT DATA Job Category: Salesforce Roles & Responsibilities: We are currently seeking a Technology Consultant \- Salesforce Developer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN\-KA), India (IN). Role Summary The role will work closely with Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and Developers to deliver secure, scalable, and high\-quality Salesforce solutions in an Agile delivery environment. Day to Day Job Duties * Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce configuration. * Develop reusable and scalable Lightning Web Components and custom Salesforce functionality. * Build and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, and asynchronous processing solutions. * Configure Salesforce capabilities including Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, Record Types, Page Layouts, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Flows. * Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Web Services, and middleware platforms. * Work with Salesforce security concepts including Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Models, and Field\-Level Security. * Perform data analysis and manipulation using SOQL, SOSL, Data Loader, and other Salesforce data tools. * Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, effort estimation, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities. * Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and performance\-related issues and perform root cause analysis. * Follow Salesforce development standards and ensure adherence to governor limits, security, scalability, and performance best practices. * Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, release management, and deployment activities across Salesforce environments. * Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, Product Owners, and Developers in an Agile delivery environment. * Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies. * Support SIT, UAT, release validation, deployment, and post\-production stabilization activities. * Salesforce Development: Apex, Triggers, Classes, SOQL, SOSL * UI Development: Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Experience * Automation: Salesforce Flows, Process Automation * Salesforce Configuration: Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, Record Types, Page Layouts * Security: Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, Field\-Level Security * Integration Technologies: REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Web Services * Asynchronous Processing: Batch Apex, Future Methods, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex * Salesforce Clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud * Data Management: Data Loader, Data Import/Export, Data Analysis * DevOps CI/CD: Git, Salesforce CLI, Copado, Gearset, CI/CD Pipelines * Software Engineering Practices: Unit Testing, Code Reviews, Version Control * Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SDLC * Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification. * Salesforce Administrator Certification. * Salesforce JavaScript Developer I Certification. * Experience with Experience Cloud implementations. * Exposure to Platform Events and event\-driven integrations. * Experience with enterprise\-scale Salesforce implementations. * Knowledge of deployment automation and release management processes. * Experience working with third\-party integrations and middleware platforms. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. * 3–5\+ years of Salesforce Development experience. * Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce Configuration. * Experience designing and implementing REST/SOAP integrations. * Strong understanding of Salesforce security and sharing models. * Experience with CI/CD, source control, and deployment tools. * Experience working in Agile delivery environments. * Ability to independently develop, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions. * Experience collaborating with cross\-functional teams in enterprise Salesforce programs.
